About the artist:

Solomon Bakker is an artist specializing in oil painting. He completed a Bachelors of Creative Practice at the Eastern Institute of Technology, Taradale (2021–2023).

Then in 2024, he worked toward a solo exhibition at Arts Inc, a community gallery in Hastings, presenting Lost in the Garden (January 6–18, 2025).

Since then, he has been producing a new body of work building on similar themes, titled The in Alchemist’s Stone – The Pursuit of Garden Gangsterism. Representing the culmination of approximately two and a half years of work.
